Affordable stormwater quality improvement systems. Ideal for
catch basins. Converts any sumped stormwater structure into an
oil-water-debris separator. Reduces floatables, free oil, grit and
suspended solids. Attaches to catch basin wall over any type pipe.
Models for rectangular and round structures, sizes from 12" to 96"
are available. A removable water-tight clean-out port is
standard for easy access to pipe. Anti-siphon device prevents
contaminants frombeing drawn downstream. High flow, low headloss
design. Strong, light-weight plastic composite construction
is very durable and installs quickly. Unaffected by corrosive ice
melting chemicals.
NOTES
- All hoods are constructed of a glass-reinforced resin compound
with ISO gel coat exterior finish with a minimum laminate thickness
of 1/8 inch
- All hoods are equipped with a water-tight access port, a mounting
flange, and an anti-siphon vent
- The size and position of the hood is determined by the outlet
pipe size
- The bottom of the hood should extend downward a distance
equal to half the outlet pipe diameter with a minimum distance
of 6" for pipes less than 12" I.D.
- The anti-siphon vent should extend above the hood by a
minimum of 3" and a maximum of 24" according to the structure
configuration
- The surface of the structure where the hood is mounted must be
finished smooth and free of loose material
- The hood shall be securely attached to the structure wall with 3/8"
stainless steel bolts and an oil-resistant gasket
