Tooele County Chamber of Commerce Business Spotlight: Syracuse Castings

We have chosen to put the spotlight on Syracuse Castings this month. Syracuse Castings, an aluminum and steel fabricating company, specializes in manufacturing access hatches. With their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, innovative products, and their amazing team, they are committed to creating a safer public world through the best product designs, manufacturing and service.

I had the honor of having a personal tour of their facility with general manager, Craig Anderson. The Tooele company distributes their products to the 11 western states, as well as Hawaii and Alaska. They ship internationally as well. His message to all chamber members is, "No matter how small we are, how limited our resources are, we all have the potential to make a difference in the lives of others. In the space of time we must recognize we are only temporary stewards of our charges. As business decision makers, it is our responsibility to utilize our position to do all we can to make sure our companies have a positive impact on the lives of others. We must use our businesses as tools through which God’s blessings will flow to others."

Mr. Anderson feels very blessed to work with the people in his company. He explains to his employees on a daily basis that what they do at Syracuse Castings is not all about manufacturing access hatches but it is about the difference they are making in the world, and the positive effect they are making on the lives of others.

Syracuse Castings recently finished manufacturing products to help supply fresh drinking water for residents in Guinea, Africa. "To think that in Africa, a product that we manufactured here in Tooele to help bring them fresh drinking water, has a stamp on it that says – Tooele, UT."

Syracuse Castings is dedicated to making a difference and looks forward to other amazing opportunities that may come their way.
